The match remained scoreless through the first half, with both teams trading possession and testing each other's defenses. South Side’s goalkeeper, Moises Ochoa (#94), stood tall with five saves, keeping Carroll at bay despite relentless pressure. On the other end, Carroll’s Boston Stansifer (#0) recorded four crucial saves to preserve the clean sheet. The breakthrough came with just under seven minutes left in the second half.
